The Pathology Department at St. Olavs Hospital shall procure a fully automated NGS platform that expands and further develops the current analysis capacity. The system shall be used for clinical diagnostics of DNA and RNA from FFPE samples and ctDNA, with a fully automated work flow from library preparation to sequencing, bioinformatic analysis and reporting integrated on one and the same instrument. There shall, thus, not be separate systems or modules, but one combined platform that handles the entire process. The system shall be available with CE-IVD/IVDR certified panels where applicable, and it shall contribute to a robust, scaleable and future orientated strengthening of the laboratory ́s NGS infrastructure.
